Setting the Dimmer (DIMMER)

To enable this product’s display from being too bright at night, when the vehicle’s head lights are turned ON the display is dimmed.

You can switch this function ON/OFF.

1.Press the FUNCTION button and select the Dimmer mode (DIMMER) in the Initial Setting Menu.

2.Switch the Dimmer ON/OFF

with the 5/buttons.

Setting the Rear Output (FRT+REAR)

This product’s rear output (rear speaker leads output and RCA Rear output) can be used for full-range speaker (“FRT+REAR”) or Subwoofer (“FRT+S/W”) connection. If you switch Rear Output setting to the “FRT+S/W”, you can connect a rear speaker lead directly to a Subwoofer without using an auxiliary amp.

Initially, the unit is set for rear full-range speaker connection (“FRT+REAR”).

Note:

Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you switch the Subwoofer Output (refer to page 41) in the Audio Menu ON.

Both rear speaker leads output and RCA Rear output are switched simultaneously in this setting mode.

1.Press the FUNCTION button and select the Rear Output setting mode (FRT+REAR) in the Initial Setting Menu.

2.Change the Rear Output set-

ting with the 5/buttons.

Note:

When no Subwoofer is connected to the rear output, select “FRT+REAR”.

When a Subwoofer is connected to the rear output, set for Subwoofer “FRT+S/W”.
