You can use this product with a separately sold Universal XM satellite digital tuner system (GEX- FM903XM) or XM satellite digital tuner (GEX- P900XM). For details concerning operation, refer to the XM tuner’s operation manuals. This section provides information on XM operations with this product which differs from that described in the XM tuner’s operation manual.

1CHANNEL SELECT MODE indicator

Shows what channel select mode has been selected. CH.NO is displayed when CH NUM- BER is selected, and CAT is displayed when CATEGORY is selected.

2CHANNEL NUMBER indicator

Shows to which channel number the tuner is tuned.

3BAND indicator

Shows the band which has been selected.

4PRESET NUMBER indicator

Shows what preset has been selected.

5XM Tuner information

The display is switched each time DISPLAY is pressed.

Switching the display

Each press of the DISPLAY changes the display in the following order:

Swiching the channel select mode

You can switch if you select a Channel with a Channel Number or from a Channel Category when you select a channel.

1Press FUNCTION to select MODE.

2Press 2 or 3 to select the desired channel select mode.
