When problems occur with the XM tuner, a message will appear on the display. Refer to the table below to iden- tify the problem, then take the suggested corrective action.

 

The XM antenna is not connected.

CK ANTENNA

Check whether the XM antenna cable is attached securely.

 

A short-circuit occurring in the antenna or the surrounding antenna cable.

 

 

Make sure that there is nothing unusual with the antenna or antenna cable.

 

 

NO SIGNAL

Wait until your vehicle reaches a location with a stronger signal.

 

XM signal is too weak at the current location.

 

 

LOADING

Wait until the unit has received the information.

 

Unit is acquiring audio or program information.

 

 

CH OFF AIR

The channel you selected is not broadcasting any programming.

Select another channel.

 

 

CH UNAUTH

Wait until the update is finished.

 

The unit is updating the encryption code.

 

 

CH UNAVAIL

The unit is receiving a channel with no SID.
