Resetting the System

Resetting the Microprocessor

Pressing the RESET button lets you reset the microprocessor to its initial settings without changing the setup function settings.

Reset the microprocessor in the following cases:

When using this product for the first time after installation. When the product fails to operate properly.

When strange (incorrect) messages appear on the display.

To reset the microprocessor, press the RESET button on the unit with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.

Resetting the Setup Function

The WIDE/MENU button and the RESET button let you erase all memorized settings and return the setup function to their initial (factory) settings without resetting the micro- processor. (Refer to the next page.)

1.Hold the WIDE/MENU down and press the RESET button.

2.Release the RESET button and hold down the WIDE/MENU button for 2 seconds.

3.Release the WIDE/MENU button.
