Equalizer Control

1Select the source to adjust Press the [SRC] button.

2Select the key function section Press the [NEXT] button.

Repeatedly press the button until "EQ" is displayed above the [3] button.

Refer to <Notes on Multi-function Key System> (page 9).

3Enter Equalizer Control mode Press the [3] ("EQ") button.

When "2 ZONE" of <Audio Setup> (page 12) is ON, you cannot select "EQ".

4Select the Equalizer Control item to adjust Press a [1] — [3]/[5] button.

"Preset": You can store an adjusted equalizer control value by selecting "MEM". Refer to <Memory mode> (page 17). Also, you can recall it by selecting "RCL". Refer to <Memory Recall mode> (page 17).

5Adjust the Equalizer control item

System Q Setting (Sound Type)

Push the Control knob towards [4] or [¢].

Each time you push the knob, the setting alternates between the settings shown in the table below.

The values set on the <Audio Control> (page 11).

Change each setting value with the <Sound Management system> (page 14).

First, select the speaker type with the Speaker setting.

1 Select a frequency band you wish to adjust.

Press the [2] ("F") or [3] ("R") button. Each time you press the button, the band alternates between "Band 1" and "Band 4".

2 Select the items to adjust for Equalizer.

Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM]. Each time you push the knob, the item to be adjusted alternates between the items shown in the table below.

3 Adjust the Equalizer.

Push the Control knob towards [4] or [¢].

Each time you push the knob, the setting alternates between the settings shown in the table below.

6Exit Equalizer Control mode Press the [6] ("RTN") button.
