BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY (CANADA)
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW, Robert Bosch Inc. (“Robert Bosch”) warrants the replacement of Blaupunkt car radio accessories, and the repw or replacement of Blaupunkt car radios or car radio parts, which, under normal conditions of use or servce, are found to be defectwe in materials and/or workmanship withtn twelve (12) months from the date of installation by an authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch.
FOR GREATER CERTAINTY, THIS BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS:
1For purposes of thas warranty, a Blaupunkt car radio accessory IS a product which enhances, or IS dependent upon, the operation of a Blaupunkt car radio but does not form an integral part thereof and may be purchased Independently of the car radio unit.
2With the exception of labour costs incurred I” connection with the removal or lnstallatlon of car radios and accessories and related actuttes. defective accessories will be replaced, and car radios or car radio parts WIII be repaxed or replaced by a lkke Item by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty sewce depot or &homed Blaupunkt dealer, free of labour costs related to such
replacement or repar.
3.Ti& warranty do& not apply to car radios and car radio parts and accessones supplied by Robert Bosch to manufacturers for tnstallation in their oroducts as oriainal ewoment. Such manufacturers may, in some cases, provide warranty cbverage for a God dikekent than that provided herein.
4.This warranty is limited to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio parts and accessories installed in a motor vehicle by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty servfce depot or authorzed Blaupunkt dealer and to Blaupunkt car radios and accessones !n a motor vehicle, the tnstallation of which has been approved by an authowed Blaupunkt warranty serwce depot or authorized Blaupunkt dealer.
5.Specifically excluded from this warranty are car radios and car radio parts and accessones which have been rendered defective by mwse, negkgence, modification or abuse, by mproper installation, appkcatton, operation or removal, by unauthorwed service or the use of unauthorized parts Also excluded from this warranty are parts which are subject to replacement due to normal wear and tear, normal maintenance to the tape portion of car radios such as cleaning, head demagnetlzatlon, lubrication and other minor adjustments and sew~ce required to ellmlnate any elect0magnetic Interference.
6.A claim under this warranty can only be made by the original customer within twelve (12) months of the date of lnstallatlon of the car radio accessory, as the case may be, and is contingent upon the presentation of the attached warranty &tificate counter&gned by an
authorized Blauounkt dealer of Robert Bosch wdhln ten (10) davs of the said installation date.
7 This warranty 18not transferable by the orlgtnal consumer to sibsequent owners, “or does It apply to car radio replacement parts.
6.To the extent allowed by the law of the junsdictlon I” which the Blaupunkt car radio or car radio accessories are purchased. this warranty sets out the only remedies available to the onglnal consumer with respect to the car radio or car radio parts or accessones owned by him. This warranty constitutes the entare agreement between Robert Bosch and the origlnal consumer. The only representations, oral or written, concernIn the Blaupunkt car radios or car radio parts or accessones which are binding on Robert Bosch are the written representations contained !n this warranty N&her Robert Bosch nor its affiliated companies shall be liable for lnadental or consequential damages which may result from defective car radios or car radio parts or accessories or from the defectwe lnstallatlon thereof, whether or not due to the negltgence of Robert Bosch. This warranty applies only to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio parts and accessories and does not cover any other motor vehicle parts.
9.THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS. ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION IMPLIED BY LAW, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, IS LIMITED TO THE PERIOD THAT THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE and no attempt to alter, modify or amend this warranty shall be effectwe unless authorlzec in wriiing by an ofhcer of Robert Bosch.
10Some junsdatlons do not allow the lmposttion of limltatlon pertods on a warranty’s duration, nor do they condone the exclusion of incIdental or consequential damages. You may therefore have other rights which vary between junsdlctlons and you may have additional legal rights against persons other than Robert Bosch.
11Robert Bosch reserves the right to examane car radios and car radio parts and accessories alleged to be defective onmaterials and/or workmanship to determine the nature and cause of such defect and Its decwon anthis regard shall be final. Robert Bosch also reserves the right to decide between repaar and replacement.

(“Robert Bosch”) garantlt le remplacement des acceswires de radios d’autos Bhupunkt et la &par&n ou le remplacement des radios d’autos ou des pi&es de radios d’autos Bbupunkt qui, en conditions normales d’utiksation ou de service, deviennent dUectueux quant B leur mat&iel eUou B leur fabrication dans les douze (12) mois de la date d’installation par un marchand Blaupunkt autoris& de Robert Bosch.
POUR PLUS DE CERTITUDE, LA PR&ENTE GARANTIE LIMITEE DE BLAUPUNKT EST SOUMISE AUX LIMITES ET CONDITIONS SUIVANTES :
1.Aux fins de la pr&ente garantie, un accessoire de radio d’auto Bbupunkt est un prcduit qui rehausse le fonctionnement d’une radio d’auto Blaupunkt ou qui en d+end. mais qui n’en fait
pas partie &grate et que lion peut acheter indgpendamment de celle-ci.
2.A I’exceptlon des frais de main-d’oeuvre se rapportant B la depose ou B la pose des radios d’autos et de leurs accessoires et aux activtt& connexes, les accessoires dbfectueux seront rempla&s et les radios d’autos ou leurs accesso~res seront r+ar& ou remplac&s par un article semblable par un d&pBt de service Blaupunkt autorid ou un marchand Blaupunkt autoris6, saris frais de mawd’oeuvre pour ledit remplacement ou ladiie r@aration.
3.La pr&ente garantie ne s’appltque pas aux radios &autos, aux pieces et accessoires de radios d’autos fournis par Robert Bosch aux constructeurs pour installation dans leurs products canme Quipements d’origine. Lesdlts fabricants pew&, dans certains cas, fournir une garantie pour une p&de diff&ente de celle que pr&oient les prtrsentes.
4.La pr&ente garantie est limit& aux radaos d’autos, aux pieces et accessoires de radios d’autos Blaupunkt install& dans un vbhicule automobile par un d&x% de service Blaupunkt auto& ou un marchand de radios d’autos et d’accessaires Blaupunkt autoris&, dent la&e mstallation a 8th approuv& par un d&p& de service Blaupunkt atori& ou un marchand Blaupunkt autoris8.
5.Sent sp&ciflquement exclus de la p&en@ garantie les radios d’autos et les p&es et accessoires de radios d’autos rendus d&fectueux par maw& usage, n@ligence, modficatlon ou abus, par une Installation, une utilisation, un fonctionnement ou une d&pose incorrect, par un entretien non autorid ou I’usage de pi&es non autori&s. Sent &alement exctues de la pr&sente garantie les pieces B remplacer par suite d’usure normale. pour I’entretien normal B la partie magn&phone des radios d’autos comme le nettoyage, la d&magnWsation des t&s, la lubrification ou les autres rbglages et serwces mineurs pour bliminer I’interf&ence Blectromagn&lque.
6.Toute r&lamation aux termes de la prdsente garantie ne peut Qre faite que par I’acheteur original dans les douze (12) moms de la date de la pose de la radio d’auto ou de ses
access&s, selon le MS, et dolt etre accompagnC du c&&at de garantie contresignb par un marchand Blaupunkt auto& de Robert Bosch dans les dix (10) jours de ladite date d’installation.
7.La pr&ente garantie n’est pas cessible par I’acheteur orlginal aux propri&aires sub&quents
et elle ne s’appllque pas aux pl&ces de rechange de radios d’autos.
6.Dans la limite oh le permet la loi de la juridiction ob la radio d’auto ou les accessoires de radios d’autos Blaupunkt sent achet&+. la pr&ente garantie &urn&e les seuls recours off&s B I’acheteur original en r?ppai avec la radio d’auto ou les pi&&% ou accessoires de radios d’autos ache& par lui. La pr&,ente garantie constitue I’entente t&ale entre Robert Bosch et I’acheteur original. Les seules repr&entations, verb&s ou &rites. concernant les radios d’autos ou les pi&es ou accesscires de radios d’autos Blaupunkt qui engagent Robert Bosch sent celles que contiennent les p&entes. Ni Robert Bosch ni ses compagnies affili&s ne scantresponsables des dommages incidents et indirects qui peuvent subvenir B la suite de la d&fectuosit& des radios d’autos ou de leurs pi&es ou accessoires ou de la d~fectuosit~ de leur pose, quelle soit ou non due Q la n&$igence de Robert Bosch. La p&ante garantie s’applique seulement aux radios d’autos et aux pi&es et acceseoires de radios d’autos Blaupunkt et ne couvre aucune autre pi&e de v&hicules automobiles.
9.LA PRCSENTE GARANTIE TIENT LIEU DE TOUTES AUTRES GARANTIES ET
CONDITIONS EXPLICITES. TOUTE GARANTIE OU CONDITION DCCOULANT DE LOI,
OUANT A LA QUALITC MARCHANDE OU A LA CONVENANCE A UNE FIN
PARTICULIARE OU TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE OUCONDITION, SE LIMITE A LA
PERlODE A LAQUELLE &TEND LA PRCSENTE GARANTIE EXPLICITE et aucune alt&at~on.mcdiication ou changement B la p&en& garantie n’est valable saris I’autotisation Cnte d’un responsable de Robert Bosch.
10.Ceriaines ]uridictions ne permetient ljas de limiter la d&e des garanties ni d’exclure les dommages lncldents ou IndIrects. Vous pouvez done, selon la jundiction oti vous habiiez. avoir des droits suppl&mentaires et posdder des recours juridiques contre des personnes a&es que Robert Bosch.
11.RobertBosch se &we le drat d’examiner les radios d’autos et les pi&es et accessoires de radios d’autos que I’on dlt dhfectueuses quant H leur mat&l effou B leur fabrication et sa decision B ce sujet est saris appel. Robert Bosch se r&serve aussi le drolt de dkider entre la r&par&n et le remplacement.
