Remote control

Your car sound system is equipped with an integrated infrared remote control receiver. The receiver is located in the detachable control panel.

Most of the functions can be operated con- veniently and safely using the steering wheel or handheld remote controls which are avail- able as optional equipment.

You cannot switch the device on/off using the remote control.

The section on "Remote control" in the chap- ter "Notes and accessories" provides infor- mation about remote controls are suitable for your device.

Note:

The infrared receiver included in the remote control package only needs to be installed according to the installation instructions if there is no direct visual contact to the car sound system.

CLOCK time

Displaying the time

To briefly display the time,

￿press and hold the SRC button 4 until the time appears on the display.

Setting the time

To set the time,

￿press the MENU button 5.

￿Press the or button 8repeatedly until "CLOCK SET" appears on the dis- play.

￿Press the button 8.

The time appears on the display. The hours flash and can be adjusted.

￿Adjust the hours with the buttons

Once the hours are set,

￿press the button 8. The minutes flash.

￿Adjusts the minutes with the but- tons 8.

￿Press the MENU button 5twice.

Selecting 12/24-hour clock mode

￿Press the MENU button 5. The display shows "MENU".

￿Press the or button 8 repeat- edly until "24 H MODE" or "12 H MODE" appears on the display.
