If you hear the warning beep, you can ei- ther switch off traffic information priority or tune into a station that broadcasts traffic information.
Setting the volume for traffic announcements
Press the MENU button :.
Press the or button 6 repeat- edly until "TA VOLUME" appears on the display.
Adjust the volume using the but- tons 6.
When you have finished making your chang- es,
press the MENU button :twice.
Notes:
•Using the volume control 3, you can also adjust the volume during a traffic announcement for the dura- tion of that announcement.
•The volume distribution can be ad- justed for traffic announcements. For further information, please read the "Sound" chapter.
CD mode
You can use this device to play standard audio CDs,

•Do not insert any shape CDs.
•Do not attach labels to CDs since the la- bel may detach during operation.
Note:
Label CDs only by using a marker since it does not contain any caustic materi- als. Permanent markers can damage CDs.

Switching to CD mode
If there is no CD inserted in the drive,
gently insert the CD with its printed side up into the CD tray 4 until you feel some resistance.
The drive draws in the CD automatically.
You must not assist or hinder the drive as it draws in the CD.
