CLOCK TIME

SOUND

When you have finished adjusting the setting,

press the MENU button 7.

Displaying the time continuously when the device is off and the ignition is on

To display the time when the device is off and the vehicle ignition is on,

press the MENU button 7.

“MENU” appears in the display.

Press the or button 6 repeat- edly until “CLOCK OFF” or “CLOCK ON” appears in the dis- play.

Press the or button 6 to switch between the ON/OFF set- tings.

When you have finished adjusting the setting,

press the MENU button 7.

Briefly displaying the time when the device is switched off

To display the time briefly when the de- vice is off,

press the DIS button :.

The clock time is shown in the display for approx. 8 seconds.

Sound

You can adjust the sound settings (bass and treble) separately for each source (radio, CD/MP3 and CD changer /AUX).

You can boost or cut the bass and tre- ble in steps of ± 7.

You can choose from 4 possible centre frequencies in order to further optimise the sound.

The change to the boost or cut of the bass and treble relates to the particular centre frequency that you selected.

The volume distribution settings (bal- ance and fader) apply to all the audio sources (except for traffic announce- ments).

You can only adjust the balance and fader settings for traffic announcements whilst a traffic announcement is actu- ally being played.

Adjusting the bass boost/cut

Press the AUDIO button 5.

“BASS” appears in the display.

Press the or button 6 to ad- just the bass.

Setting the bass centre frequency

You can choose between 4 centre fre- quencies for boosting/cutting the bass: 60 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz and 120 Hz.

Whilst the bass setting is being dis- played, press the or button 6 to choose between the 4 possible centre frequencies.
