Listen to the Digital Radio (KDC-BT73DAB)

10-8. Replay

You can replay last about 7 minutes (audio bit rate: 128 kbps) of current service.

1Press [R]

“Replay Mode” appears and enters the Replay mode.

During Replay, you can perform the following operations:

Operation type

Operation

Pause and play

Press and hold [1/6].

Forward or backward 15 seconds

Press [E] or [F].

Fast forward or Fast backward

Press and hold [E] or [F].

Exiting from the Replay mode.

Press [R]

The on-air song is received.

You can set the Digital Radio related items.

1Press [Control] knob.

Enters the Function setting mode.

2Select “Settings” using [Control] knob.

3Select a Digital Radio setting item using [Control] knob.

Display

Description

“Seek Mode”

Sets the Digital Radio seek mode.

“DAB Priority”

When this setting item is set to ON, the

 

station will automatically switch to a Radio

 

Data System Broadcast with the same radio

 

program in event the reception for Digital

 

Radio becomes poor.

 

In the same manner, the station will

 

automatically switch to a Digital Radio

 

Broadcast with the same radio program in

 

event the reception for Radio Data System

 

becomes poor. (If the same program is not

 

being broadcasted on either, it will not switch

 

between Digital Radio and Radio Data System).

 

ON” / “OFF”

“DAB List Update”

Sets updating method for “DAB List Update”

 

Service list information.

 

ON”: Automatically updates the service list

 

when ACC is turned ON.

 

“OFF”: Updates the service list only when [R]

 

is pressed and held.

“PTY Watch”

When a broadcast with program type set to

 

“PTY Watch” starts with the ensemble currently

 

being received, the reception for broadcast

 

automatically switches to that program type.

10-10. Digital Radio initial settings

You can configure initial settings of Digital Radio.

1Press [SRC] to select a Standby (“STANDBY”). Refer to <Source selection> (page 14).

2Press [Control] knob.

Enters the Function setting mode.

3Select “Initial Settings” using [Control] knob. For how to use [Control] knob, refer to <3-3. How to select the item> (page 13).

4Select a Digital Radio initial setting item using [Control] knob.

Display

Description

“DAB L-Band”

Allows switching to L band when set to “ON”.

 

“ON” / “OFF

“DAB Antenna Power”

Sets power supply to the Digital Radio

 

antenna. Set to “ON” when the Digital Radio

 

antenna in use is equipped with a booster.
