PIC/VIDEO/VOICE MESSAGE ALERT — Set the alert type for an incoming picture or voice message. VOICEMAIL MESSAGE ALERT — Set the alert type for an incoming voicemail message.

4.Press the Right Soft Key (Skip) to ignore the setting, or press the Key (SET) to accept your setting.

5.Repeat step 3 until the set-up is completed.

Call Sounds

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, press Call Sounds, and then select from the following:

Call Ringtone — To set ringtones for incoming calls, scroll to the desired ringtone, and press the Key. Call Vibrate — To set the device to vibrate when receiving a call, select On.

Call Alert — To set the phone to ring or read caller ID automatically when receiving a call, select Ring Only, Caller ID + Ring or Name Repeat.

Alert Sounds

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, press Alert Sounds.

4.Select the alert type for an incoming text, picture, video, or voice message, voicemail, emergency tone, or missed call.

Keypad Volume

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, press Keypad Volume.

4.To set the volume for the keypad, press the Directional Key up or down, and then press the Key.

Digit Dial Readout

You can set the device to read the number automatically when you press the corresponding digit.

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, and then press Digit Dial Readout.

4.Scroll to On, and press the Key.

Service Alerts

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, press Service Alerts, and then select from the following:

ERI — Enhanced roaming indicator (ERI) displays the status of the mobile service (network service). The status can be "Verizon Network", "Extended Network", or "Roaming". See "Banner," p. 42. Select On or Off, and press the Key. Minute Beep — Sounds an alert every minute while on a call. Select On or Off, and press the Key.

Call Connect — Sounds an alert when a call is connected. Select On or Off, and press the Key.

Power On/Off

1.Swivel open the phone to reveal the full QWERTY keypad.

2.Press the Key (MENU), and press Settings & Tools.

3.Press Sound Settings, press Power On/Off, and press the Key.

4.Select Power On or Power Off, and press the Key.

5.Select On or Off, and press the Key.

Display Settings
