12. Calculator (Menu 7)

The calculator in your phone adds, subtracts, multiplies, divides, and converts currency values.

NOTE: Your phone must be switched on to use this function. Do not switch on the phone when the use of a wireless phone is prohibited or when it may cause inter- ference or danger.

Using the Calculator

1Once in Calculator menu, press Select.

2When an ‘0’ is displayed on the screen, enter the first number in the calculation (press for decimals).

3To add, press once (+ will appear).

To substract, press twice (- will appear).

To multiply, press three times (* will appear).

To divide, press four times (/ will appear).

To add a decimal, press .

Or: Press Options, scroll with or to the desired function, and press OK.

To Make a Currency Conversion

1To set the exchange rate, press Options, scroll to Exchange rate and press OK.

2Scroll to either of the displayed options and press OK. Key in the exchange rate (press for a decimal point) and press OK.

3To make the conversion, key in the amount to be converted, press Options, scroll to To domestic or To foreign and press OK.

4Enter the second number. Repeat these steps as many times as needed. Press Clear to erase any mistakes.

5Press Options. Highlight Equals and press OK. You can also choose the Add,

Subtract, Multiply, and Divide func- tions from the list of options.

NOTE: This calculator has a limited ac- curacy and rounding errors may oc- cur, especially in long divisions.
