Learning to Use Your Phone

Entering Words

Action

1Press a number key one time to enter the first letter of the word.

The letters associated with the key are shown at the bottom of the display.

2Press number keys (one per letter) to enter the rest of the word.

Alternative words and letter combinations are shown at the bottom of the display. The word choices are updated with each keypress.

3Press Sto highlight the word you want.

4Press SELECT (+) to enter the word at the flashing cursor location.

A space is automatically inserted after the word.

For example, to spell the word “art,” press 278. The display shows:
