Getting Started

Charging the Battery

New batteries are partially charged. Before using your phone, install and charge the battery. Some batteries perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles.

Action

1Attach the charger into the phone, and plug

the other end into an appropriate electrical outlet.

2Press the release tab and remove the charger when you see the following on the internal display (not visible on the external display):

Charge Complete (if the phone is powered off)

or

Charged (if the phone is powered on)

Note: When you charge the battery, the battery level indicator in the upper right corner of the display shows how much of the charging process is complete. At least 1 segment of the battery level indicator must be visible to ensure full phone functionality while charging.
