Note: To extend battery life, set Bluetooth power to Off when not in use. If you turn Bluetooth power Off, your phone will not connect to accessories until you turn Bluetooth power On and reconnect to the accessories.

transfer files

You can use a Bluetooth connection to transfer files between your computer and phone.

Note: The steps for transferring files depend on your computer and operating system and may be a little different for you.

1Pair your phone and computer (see “pair with headset, handsfree device, or computer” on page 52).

2On your computer, open the Bluetooth window.

3Click “Search for devices in range.”

Note: Your computer’s Bluetooth interface may be different.

4Locate your phone name and double-click it.

5Double-click “OBEX File Transfer” for your phone.

6When you see a list of files and folders on your phone, you can drag and drop files between your computer to your phone.

7When you are finished transferring files, press

Oon your phone to close the connection.

Note: Breaking the link does not turn off Bluetooth power on your phone.
