emergency calls

Your service provider programs one or more emergency phone numbers (such as 911) that you can call under any circumstances, even when your phone is locked or the SIM card is not inserted.

Note: Emergency numbers vary by country. The preprogrammed emergency number(s) in your phone may not work in all locations. Sometimes an emergency call cannot be placed due to network, environmental, or interference issues.

To call the emergency number at any time:

1Press the keypad keys to dial the emergency number.

2Press Nto call the emergency number.

international calls

If your phone service includes international dialing, press and hold 0to insert your local international access code (indicated by +). Then, press the keypad keys to dial the country code, such as +44for the U.K., +33for France, etc., and phone number.

1-touch dial

To call phonebook entries 1 through 9, press and hold the 1-Touch Dial number for one second.

You can set 1-Touch Dial to call the entries in your phone's memory phonebook, your SIM card's phonebook, or your Fixed Dial list:

Find it: M> Settings > Initial Setup > 1-Touch Dial > Phone, SIM, or Fixed Dial
