Tools

The following topics provide details about the tools supported by the Sonim XP STRIKE IS.

Device Self Service

Follow the instructions below to update your phone firmware.

nSelect Menu (left selection key) > Tools > Device Self Service.

Alarm

Follow the instructions below to set an alarm for a particular time.

1.Select Menu (left selection key) > Tools > Alarm.

2.To set a simple alarm, set the alarm time and select Repeat > Off.

To set a recurrent alarm, set the alarm time and select Repeat > On. Highlight the Repeat days field and navigate left or right to open a list of the days of the week. Mark the days on which the alarm should be repeated or turned off by highlighting them and selecting Mark/Unmark (menu key). Select Done (right selection key) when finished.

3.To set the snooze time, highlight the Snooze time-outfield and enter the number of minutes desired.

4.To set the alarm tone, highlight the Alarm tone field and navigate left or right to display the Open My files option. Press Select (menu key) and navigate to and select an audio file saved in your phone.

Note: The alarm will sound even if the phone is in Silent mode or switched off.

Calendar

The calendar enables you to set appointments, schedule reminders when required, set alerts and repeat specific settings. Tasks can be viewed on daily and monthly basis.

Follow the instructions below to create events and notes and also modify calendar settings.
