Disabling the Emergency Display
Your phone is preset to display EMrgCY when you hold down 1 to make an emergency call; however, you can set the phone so EMrgCY does not appear (if you did not store an emergency number in memory 01, for example).
Follow these steps to disable (or enable) the emergency dis- play.
1. Press FCN | 1 . |
2.Repeatedly press 
or # 
until EMrgCY CALL On or OFF appears.
3.Press CLR so OFF appears (to disable) or STO so On appears (to enable).
4.Press END
to exit the function menu.
