If you want a different word (such as progress), continue pressing keys to enter the remaining letters.

If you enter a word the phone does not recognize, the phone stores it as a new word option. When you fill memory space for new word options, your phone deletes the oldest words to add new ones.

Scroll up or down to view other possible combinations, and select the one you want.

Press right on the Directional key (S) to enter the highlighted combination when it spells a word. A space is inserted automatically after the word.

To enter numbers quickly, press and hold a number key to temporarily switch to numeric mode. Press the number keys to enter the numbers you want.

Press 1to enter punctuation or other characters.

After selecting numeric mode, press the number keys to enter the numbers you want. When you finish entering numbers, press the Left Soft key (p) (123) to switch to another entry mode.

symbol mode

After selecting the symbols mode, in the SYMBOLS screen, use the Directional key (S) to scroll to the desired symbol and press the Center Select key (s) (OK) to select it.

To search for additional symbols, press the Right Soft key (p) (Next) to page down to the next set of symbols. Press the Left Soft key (p) (Prev) to page up to the previous set.
