Driving Precautions

Check the laws and regulations on the use of mobile devices in the area where you drive. Always obey them.

When using your mobile device while driving, please:

Give full attention to driving and to the road. Using a mobile device may be distracting. Discontinue a call if you can’t concentrate on driving.

Use handsfree operation, if available.

Pull off the road and park before making or answering a call if driving conditions so require.

Responsible driving practices can be found in the “Smart Practices While Driving” section at the end of this guide and/or at the Motorola website: www.motorola.com/callsmart.

Operational Warnings

Obey all posted signs when using mobile devices in public areas, such as health care facilities or blasting areas.

Automobile Air Bags

Do not place a mobile device in the air bag deployment area.

Potentially Explosive Atmospheres

Areas with potentially explosive atmospheres are often but not always posted, and can include fueling areas such as below decks on boats, fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities, or areas where the air contains chemicals or particles, such as grain, dust, or metal powders.

When you are in such an area, turn off your mobile device, and do not remove, install, or charge batteries. In such areas, sparks can occur and cause an explosion or fire.

Z3 specifications

The Motorola Z3, launched in 2018, marked an important entry in the ever-evolving smartphone market. This device is part of the Motorola Z series, known for its modular design and robust features. With a sleek aluminum body and glass front, the Z3 is lightweight and comfortable to hold, making it a stylish option for users.

One of the standout features of the Motorola Z3 is its compatibility with Moto Mods, a unique accessory system that allows users to enhance their smartphone's capabilities. These mods can transform the Z3 into a powerful camera, a portable projector, or even a battery pack, thus extending the device's functionality beyond conventional smartphones.

The Z3 is equipped with a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display, providing vibrant colors and deep contrasts for an exceptional viewing experience. The 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution ensures that videos and images are sharp, making it ideal for media consumption. Moreover, the display is enhanced with Corning Gorilla Glass for durability and scratch resistance.

Powering the Z3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and other demanding applications. It operates on 4GB of RAM, which supports efficient app performance, while the available storage options of 64GB or 128GB allow ample space for files and applications. Users also have the option to expand this storage using a microSD card.

The camera system on the Motorola Z3 includes a dual rear camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, enabling users to capture beautiful photos with depth effects. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera is adept at producing high-quality selfies, further enhancing the device's appeal for social media enthusiasts.

The Motorola Z3 is powered by a 3000 mAh battery, which, while not the largest on the market, provides satisfactory longevity, supported by battery optimization features. The device also features TurboPower charging, allowing quick top-ups to keep the phone operational.

Running on the near-stock version of Android, the Z3 ensures a smooth user experience with minimal bloatware. This clean interface makes it easy for users to navigate, customize, and enjoy the extensive range of features that Android offers.

In summary, the Motorola Z3 combines advanced modular technology, a vivid display, robust performance, and a decent camera setup into a stylish package, making it a worthy contender for those seeking a versatile and reliable smartphone.
