Using Phone Menus

Security (Menu )

The Security menu allows you to secure the phone electronically.

Lock Phone (Menu )

Keeps your phone from unauthorized use. Once the phone is locked, it is in restricted mode until the lock code is entered. You can receive phone calls and still make emergency calls.

You can modify the lock code using the New Lock code within the Security menu.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

The lock code is commonly the last 4 digits of your phone number.

3.Press Lock Phone.

4.Select an option then press .

Unlock

The phone is never locked (Lock mode

 

can be used).

Lock

The phone is always locked.

 

When locked, you can receive incoming

 

calls or make only emergency calls.

On Power Up

The phone is locked when it is turned on.

Restrict (Menu )

Allows you to restrict outgoing calls. If you set this feature to On, you can only place calls to emergency numbers and phone numbers stored in your Contacts. You can still receive calls in the restrict mode.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Restrict.

4.Select On / Off then press .

Emergency #s (Menu )

Allows you to enter 3 emergency numbers You can call these emergency numbers and 911, even when the phone is locked or restricted.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Emergency #s.

4.Select emergency number using .

5.Enter an emergency phone number then press .

Change Code (Menu )

Allows you to enter a new four-digit lock code.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Change Code.

4.For confirmation, it will ask you to enter the new lock code again.
