Play To

Learn to use Play To compatible with the Digital Living Network Alliance(DLNA) service that enables you to have contents in your phone play with DLNA DMR-enabled devices in your home over a Wi-Fi network.

Before you start!: You must first activate the Wi-Fi feature and add a Wi-Fi network connection profile.

Customise DLNA settings for Streaming media files

To allow other DLNA-enabled devices to receive media files from your device, you must activate Play To(media sharing).

1On the Start screen, tap the arrow or swipe right to left to go to your App list and select Play To.

2Tap Device icon on the notification bar.

3Adjust the following settings to customise the DLNA feature:

-Settings > System > Wi-Fi to On.

-you need to be connected to the Wi-Fi network before you choose the target device for Play To.

Some files may not play on the DLNA DMR- enabled devices.

Playback may not be instantaneous, but instead buffered, depending on the network connection and the connected DLNA DMR-enabled devices.

You will need a DLNA-certified device that supports DMR (Digital Media Render) service for use with Play To. Go to http://www.dlna.org/ products/ to check if your device is compatible.

Play your files on another DLNA DMR-enabled devices

1On the Start screen, tap the arrow or swipe right to left to go to your App list and select Play To.

2Tap Device icon on the notification bar and choose target. Your device automatically searches for DLNA DMR-enabled devices.

3Select a media category > a file.

4Playback begins at the selected player.

5Control playback using icons of your device.

nNOTES

Playback may be buffered, depending on the network connection and the connected server.

You can search DLNA DMR-enabled devices only if they are turned on.
