6.1 Receiving an SMS message

6. SMS

Several types of SMS messages can be received:

•text messages

•icons for call groups

•animated screen savers

•melodies

•WAP bookmarks.

Access to this service depends on the network. For more information, consult your Operator or your Service Provider.

When you receive an SMS message, a beep is heard, (the beep selected in the menu Ringing and beeps/Volume and choice of music/Messages) a flashing red light appears and the icon is displayed on your phone screen.

This icon remains on screen as long as the

SMS messages have not been read.

When the memory flashes, it is full.
