memory available for the new messages. Use the [Delete] option within each mailbox, or use the [Delete All] option to delete all the messages.

NOTE If “Auto delete” is set to On, and the inbox full, when the handset receives a new message, it deletes the oldest read message and saves the new message instead.

Write New: Write a multimedia message (MMS) or a text message (SMS)

Inbox: Display the received messages in the SIM and Phone memory.

You can save up to 200 messages in the phone memory and more messages are received only if the SIM capacity is available. The “10” in [10/20] represents the number of unread messages, whereas the “20” represents the number of saved messages in the Inbox.

Sent: Display the stored messages in the phone memory that were sent. This depends on the settings for Save Messages.

Outbox: Display the list of stored messages that have not been sent.

Draft: Display the list of stored messages that were not completed and stored as Draft. You can save up to 30 messages in Draft.

44Voicemail: Access the voice mailbox provided by your

network service provider

Templates: Display your saved templates.

Settings: Set up the environment for messages.

Memory Info: Display the used/free space of the SIM or phone memory.

Write New

Press [Menu] Soft key, select 2.Messaging, select 1.Write New, and then press the [o] key.

Select the type of message you want to enter.

Text Message: Write new SMS message.

Multimedia Message: Write new MMS message.

Creating a Text Message. At the top of the display, the number of remaining characters appears and you can see the [] icon.

While you are entering a text message, press the [Options] Soft key ([(]) for more editing options. Use [Up] or [Down] scroll key to select an item and press the [o] key.

Add template: Obtain a template.

Add Subject: Add the message subject.
