Using Your VCR

To Play Back a Videotape

1.Press VCR1 on the remote to turn on the VCR, audio/video receiver, TV, and tune the TV to channel 91 (Input 1). This also sets the remote to control the VCR.

2.Insert a pre-recorded tape in the VCR. The VCR automatically turns on, and the

cassette-in indicator lights. The tape automatically begins playback if the safety tab on the cassette has been removed and the Auto Play feature is turned on.

3. Press PLAY, if necessary. PLAY will appear in the VCRÕs display panel while the tape is playing.

If necessary, press TRACKING up or down on the VCR or VCRÕs remote (the remote which came packed with the VCR) to remove any streaks from the picture.

While a tape is playing press PAUSE to pause the action and view one frame of the picture. Press PAUSE or PLAY to return to normal playback.

¥While a tape is playing press FF to visually search the tape forward or press REW to visually search the tape in reverse. Press the FF or REW button again or press PLAY to resume watching the tape.

4. Press STOP when you are finished watching the tape.

5. Press REW to rewind the tape. The VCR automatically rewinds the tape if it reaches the end of the tape during playback. While rewinding you can press POWER on the remote or on the VCR and the VCR will turn off after rewinding.

6. Press EJECT on the VCR to eject the tape.
