DURING A CALL

SENDDTMF

Automatically transmits your phone number to a pager during a call. (Dependent on pager service)

1Press [OPTIONS] .

VOICEPRIVACY

Increases security during a call.

1Press [OPTIONS] .

LOCATION

Enables the network to locate your current location through Global Positioning System (GPS). (Refer to page 67 for more details.)

MAKING AN EMERGENCY CALL

The 911 feature automatically places the phone in the Emergency Call Mode when you dial the preprogrammed emergency number, 911. It also operates in the Lock Mode and out of the service area.

911INLOCKMODE

The 911 call service is available even in the Lock Mode.

1Enter “911” and then press .

2The call connects.

3The phone maintain the Emergency Mode for 5 minutes.

When the call ends, the phone returns to the Lock Mode.

911USINGANYAVAILABLESYSTEM

1Enter “911” and then press .

2The call connects.

3The phone will stay in Emergency Mode for 5 minutes.

The phone returns to the Lock Mode.

While the phone is in the Emergency Mode for 5 minutes, the phone can receive an incoming call from any available system. However, it can’t make a call.

The 911 call is not recorded in the recent call list.
