Recharging Batteries
You can recharge
Adaptor. Be sure to observe the polarity of the Adaptor before connecting it to the radio.
Note: The PRO340XLwill not operate while the batteries are
recharging. |

have installed 10 rechargeable | |
connecting power to the charge connection. | |
Using the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord |

IMPORTANT: The Cigarette Lighter Power Cord is designed to be used |
|
ONLY with negative ground vehicles. Do not attempt to |
|
charge the batteries with the power cord connected to a |
|
positive ground vehicle. |

1.Plug one end of the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord into the CHARGE connection on the side of the PRO340XL.
2.Plug the other end of the Cigarette Lighter Power Cord into the v~hicle's cigarette lighter socket.
Using an optional AC Adaptor
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have an AC Adaptor that supplies 12V DC
power with the correct polarity before connecting it to the radio.
1. Plug one end of the AC Adaptor into the CHARGEconnection on the side
of the PRO340XL.
2. Connect the other end of the AC Adaptor to an AC power source.
Note: For information on time required to recharge batteries, consult the manufacturer of the battery or AC Adaptor.
