To select a preset pro- gram, press the Programs button re- peatedly. When a pre- set program is selected, the left display will flash
the maximum speed setting of the program for a few seconds, and the right display will show how long the program will last. Note: If the walking belt is moving when the Programs button is pressed, the walking belt will slow to a stop.
Press the Start button or the Speed increase
3 button to start the program.
A moment after the button is pressed, the tread- mill will automatically adjust to the first speed and incline settings of the program. Hold the handrails and begin walking.
Each program is divided into several time periods of different lengths. One speed setting and one in- cline setting are programmed for each period.
Note: The same speed setting and/or incline setting may be programmed for two or more consecutive periods.
When only three seconds remain in the first period of the program, the left display will flash and a se- ries of tones will sound. The treadmill will then au- tomatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the second period.
Note: If the speed setting and/or incline setting for the current period is too high or too low, you can manually override the setting by pressing the speed and incline buttons. However, when the next period of the program begins, the tread- mill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next period.
The program will continue until no time remains in the right display. The walking belt will then slow to a stop.
