6.Mount brackets (20) and rim (18) to backboard and finger tighten as shown. NOTE: Final adjustments will be made in Step 9.

9.While still in the horizontal position, carefully slide backboard components onto pole. Secure hardware at desired position as shown and tighten all hardware completely at this time.
