Calibrating the Compass

1.See “Magnetic Declination by Major City” section to determine declination angle and refer to p.12-14.

2.Hold down the Compass Button for 3 seconds to select setting display.

3.When the “CAL” is displayed, keep the watch parallel to the horizon, and steadily rotate the watch clockwise two full rotations (the indicators will move in a clockwise direction automatically).

4.After the two rotations, the first step of the calibration is complete.

5.While the indicators are still moving, press the Compass Button to set the Magnetic Declination.

6.Use the Day Button to increase the setting (from –90 to 90) until the desired setting appears.

7.When complete, press the Date Button to return to the previous setting.
