For serious compass users or people who intend to perform accurate navigation, the compass must be adjusted to include the magnetic declination. This watch includes a compensation setting for Magnetic Declination. See the “Calibrating the Compass” section on p.10.

Magnetic Declination Information

Most topographic maps show a magnetic north pole and/or the magnetic declination information. See the “Magnetic Declination at Major Cities” section on p.15-19.
