The indications on the display teach you a lot of things while you are operating the System.

Before operating the System, be familiar with when and how the indicator illuminates on the display.

Indications on the main display

• While listening to radio:

*When the beginning of the MP3 track, the track title will be shown before the elapsed playing time appears.

1BEEP ON indicator

•Lights when key-touch tone is activated.

2 MP3 indicator

•Lights when an MP3 track is detected.

3TITLE indicator

•Lights when the group title or track title is shown on the main display.

4GROUP indicator

•Lights when the group title or number is shown on the main display.

5TRACK indicator

•Lights when the track title or number is shown on the main display.

6Main display

7 REC indicator

•Flashes while recording.

8 FM reception indicators

•MONO: lights when monaural reception mode is selected.

•ST: lights while an FM stereo station with sufficient signal strength is tuned in.

9Disc operation indicators

•REPEAT:lights when Repeat Play mode is activated.

•RANDOM:lights when Random Play is activated.

•ALL 1 DISC:

–ALL: lights when All Disc Repeat is activated.

–1:lights when One Track Repeat is activated.

–1 DISC: lights when One Disc Repeat is activated.

•PROGRAM:lights when Program Play mode is activated. p Disc indicators

•Each indicator shows the status of a disc placed on each corresponding disc tray (DISC1 – DISC5).

–Lights up when a disc is loaded.

–Goes off when the unit detects there is no disc loaded on the disc tray.

•Lights when the surround mode is activated. w Audio level indicator

e Tape operation indicators

•2 3 (tape direction):

–Lights to indicate the current tape running direction.

–Flashes slowly during playback and recording.

–Flashes quickly while rewinding a tape.

–Flashes intermittently while locating the beginning of a recording.

• (reverse mode):

–: tape play continues endlessly.

–: tape play stops at the end of one side.

rTimer indicators

•: lights when Daily Timer or Recording Timer stands by or is working.

•SLEEP: flashes when the Sleep Timer is activated.

•DAILY: lights up when the Daily Timer stands by or is working.

•REC: lights up when the Recording Timer stands by or is working.
