Select what you want to play by using the number buttons
NOTE
• Set the remote control mode selector to AUDIO before using the number buttons.
•For a VCD or SVCD, this operation can
be carried out when the disc is stopped, or during playback without the PBC function.
•For a DVD AUDIO, CD, MP3/WMA or JPEG, this operation can also be carried out when the disc is stopped.
•This operation may not be carried out for some discs.
Designate the chapter number or track number to play during playback.
•Refer to “How to use the number buttons” on page 15.
To stop playback
Press 7 during playback.
To pause playback
Press 8 during playback.
To start normal playback again, press DVD/CD 3.
•For JPEG
•It is not possible to pause by pressing 8 on the main unit during JPEG disc
To advance picture frame-by-frame
Press 8 during pause.
•Each time you press the button, picture will be advanced
Fast reverse/Fast forward search
Press 1 or ¡ during playback.
Each time you press the button, the speed increases (⋅2, ⋅5, ⋅10, ⋅20, ⋅60). To restore the normal speed, press DVD/CD 3.
NOTE
•Fast reverse/Fast forward search cannot be carried out for MP3, WMA, and JPEG.
•For a DVD VIDEO, VCD or SVCD, no sound comes out during Fast reverse/Fast forward search.
•For a CD or DVD AUDIO, sound is intermittent during Fast reverse/Fast forward search.
