Adjusting DSP effect

You can adjust the strength of DSP (Digital Signal Processor) ef- fect for each DAP mode so that you can customize sound effect. About the DAP, see “Using the DSP Modes [DSP MODE]” on page 20.

1 Press DSP MODE to select one of DSP modes.

The current DSP mode appears on the display window. Each time you press the button, DSP mode changes as follows.

=SURROUND ON*= THEATER = LIVE CLUB = DANCE CLUB = HALL = PAVILION = DSP OFF = (back to the beginning)

* “PRO LOGIC” appears when the current source is not DVD.

2 Press SOUND.

The system enters sound setting mode.

3 Press EFFECT to select the desired effect level.

The current effect level appears on the display window. Each time you press the button, the effect level changes as follows. j DSP EFFECT 1 j DSP EFFECT 2 j DSP EF- FECT 3 j DSP EFFECT 4 j DSP EFFECT 5 j

• The greater number, the greater effect.

4Repeat steps 1-3 for other DSP mode.

After 5 seconds, the display returns to the one before enter- ing the sound setting mode.

Note:

If DAP mode is not selected, you cannot adjust the DSP effect.
