Changing Suunto X6/X6M Settings

You can change some Suunto X6/X6M settings with the Wristop Computer section of the Suunto Activity Manager. You can change the following settings:

Asc/Dsc—select the used ascent/descent unit (m/s, m/min, m/h, ft/s, ft/min, ft/h).

Altitude—change the used altitude unit (m or ft).

Pressure —select the used pressure unit (hPa or inHg).

Temperature—select the used temperature unit (°F or °C).

Time—select between 12- or 24-hour display.

Date—select the date format (day/month, month/day, day).

Light—select the light setting (Normal, NightUse, Off).

Tones—set the button tones on or off.

Icons—set the icons on or off.

SuuntoSports.com is an international free web community where you can refine and share the data that you have measured with your personal Suunto instrument and analyzed with the sport-specific PC interface. SuuntoSports.com offers you a number of features that help you get the most out of your sport and your Suunto X6/X6M.

If you already own a personal Suunto sports instrument you can access all sport- specific functions through registration. If you do not yet have an instrument you may either log on as a guest or register yourself. As a guest you can view and read, but registration gives you the right to use other functions and participate in discussions.
