An interesting fact about declination is that the location of the magnetic North changes slightly every year. You can find the declination value from a map. For the most up-to-date value, do a search from the Internet (the National Geophysical Data Center in the United States supplies very accurate information).

You can set the declination value in MENU. To enter MENU, press [Mode] for 2 seconds - the menu icon in the upper right corner will blink twice.

In MENU, press [Down Light] to reach and [Mode] to enter COMPASS. You can set the declination to off or choose between East (E) or West (W) by pressing [Up] or [Down Light] and then [Mode]. Then set the declination value of your current location by pressing [Up] or [Down Light].
