During memory recall, you can press either [START], [STOP] or [LAP/SPLIT] to exit from chrono recall mode and jump to the chrono start/stop or lap state respectively.

Data Mode (AE760M & AE790M Model only)

Press [MODE] until you enter DATA mode The mode message "DATA" will be shown for one to two seconds before the number of free memories is to be shown.
