Operations Using the

On-screen Bar

Basic operation procedures through the on-screen bar are as follows:

Ex.: Selecting a subtitle (French) for DVD Video:

While a disc is selected as the source...

1Display the on-screen bar with the pull-down menu.

Disappears

*This does not appear for MPEG-1/MPEG-2 discs.

2Select (highlight) the item you want.

3Display the pop-up window.

4Select the desired option in the pop-up window.

5Finish the setting.

Pop-up window disappears.

To remove the on-screen bar

Time information

You can change the time information in the on-screen bar and the display window on the main unit.

1While playing, display the on-screen bar with the pull-down menu.

2Make sure is selected (highlighted).

3Change the time indication.

TOTAL Elapsed disc/title time.

T.REM Remaining disc time.

TIME Elapsed playing time of the current chapter/ track (not applicable for DVD-VR).

REM Remaining time of the current chapter/ track (not applicable for DVD-VR).

Repeat Play

1While playing a disc (without PBC for SVCD/VCD), display the on-screen bar with the pull-down menu.

Repeat play can be selected before starting playback, not applicable for DVD Video.
