When to use ‘Easy Iron’

Important!

Audio Signal

‘Easy Iron’ provides a short programme consisting of approximately

7.5minutes of heat with an approximately 2.5 minutes cool tumble period. It is a short conditioning programme that softens the fibres allowing them to relax making handling and ironing easier and less time consuming.

However garments are dried, outside on the line, inside on a radiator, hung around the home or using a tumble dryer, once dry they usually get left in the same position/place for a long period of time. This tends to cause garment fibre stiffness which can make the handling of garments difficult and therefore the ironing time longer. Garments dried in any of the ways described above and left will benefit from the ‘Easy Iron’ programme.

The ‘Easy Iron’ cycle is not a drying programme. It has been designed to condition/soften garments that have already been dried and left unattended in this state for a period of time.

All materials do not behave in exactly the same way when heated. For instance, our testing has shown that materials such as Tencel® and Acrylics are not relaxed quite as effectively by applying the ‘Easy Iron’ cycle as we found on the more traditional Cottons and Polycottons.

To obtain the best results from ‘Easy Iron’ it is important that the weights recommended below are not exceeded and HIGH heat is selected. (Heat switch IN).

For best results We recommend garments should be removed from the dryer immediately after the ‘Easy Iron’ programme to be hung, folded neatly or ironed.

When this is not possible the ‘Easy Iron’ programme should be repeated.

TDL52, TVM55, TDL54 specifications

Hotpoint has established itself as a reputable brand in the appliance industry, particularly with its range of tumble dryers. Among these, the models TDL54, TVM55, and TDL52 are particularly noteworthy for their innovative features, user-friendly design, and energy efficiency.

The Hotpoint TDL54 is a vented tumble dryer known for its reliability and performance. It boasts an impressive 8 kg capacity, making it suitable for medium to large households. The TDL54 features a variety of drying programs tailored to specific fabric types, including cotton, synthetic, and delicates, ensuring optimal care for your garments. One of its standout features is the Sensor Dry technology, which automatically stops the drying cycle once the desired dryness level is reached. This not only prevents over-drying but also saves energy, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

Next, the Hotpoint TVM55 presents a slightly different approach as a vented tumble dryer. With an 8 kg capacity as well, it is designed with user convenience in mind. The TVM55 incorporates a unique Anti-Tangle feature that helps to reduce tangling of clothes during the drying process, resulting in wrinkle-free laundry. The model offers straightforward and intuitive controls, making it easy to select programs and settings, even for those not technologically inclined. Energy efficiency is another hallmark of the TVM55, making it an economical option for families looking to manage utility bills without compromising on performance.

Finally, the Hotpoint TDL52 model stands out as a compact vented tumble dryer, perfect for smaller spaces such as apartments or utility rooms. With its 6 kg capacity, it is designed for users with lighter laundry loads. However, it does not compromise on functionality; the TDL52 offers multiple drying programs to accommodate different fabric types. Additionally, it features a reverse tumble action that helps to keep clothes separated during drying, further preventing creases and ensuring a more effective drying cycle.

In summary, the Hotpoint TDL54, TVM55, and TDL52 embody the brand's commitment to developing tumble dryers that combine technology with practicality. They all feature efficient drying capabilities, user-friendly controls, and thoughtful designs, catering to diverse household needs while promoting energy efficiency and care for fabrics.
