H Cleaning and maintenance
When the appliance has cooled down, wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge, as required.
Dirt can be removed from the soleplate with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or objects.
Important: If the appliance has been standing unused for long periods, hold it horizontal and allow it to emit steam for approx. 1 minute to clean the steam ducts and remove any residue from the iron.
