SERVICE OR REPAIR

Service, if necessary, must be performed by a Black & Decker Household Appliance Company-Owned or Authorized Service Center. The Service Center nearest you can usually be found in the yellow pages of your phone book under “Appliances-Small- Repairing” or call the appropriate toll-free “800” number on the cover of this book. Before shipping or mailing your iron, empty all water from the iron while it’s hot. Be sure it is completely cool before packing for shipment. Pack it carefully into a sturdy carton with enough packing material to prevent damage. The original carton is not suitable for mailing. Include a note describing the problem to our Service Center and be sure to give your return address. We also suggest that you insure the package for your protection.

Si envía por correo su plancha, antes de empacarla vacíe el depósito de agua mientras la plan- cha aún esté caliente. Asegurese de que la plancha este completamente fría antes de empacarla. Empáquela con cuidado en un cartón resistente con suficiente material de empaque para evitar cualquier daño. Por favor incluya una nota para nuestro centro de servicio describiendo el problema. Avant d’envoyer le fer, le vider lorsqu’il est chaud. Attendre que le fer soit complètement refroidi avant de l’emballer. Bien emballer le fer dans une boîte de carton solide, en prenant soin de l’immobiliser afin qu’il ne subisse aucun dommage. L’emballage original ne convient pas à l’expédition. Joindre à l’intention du centre d’entretien une lettre explicative énonçant le problème, sans oublier de donner l’adresse de retour. Il est également recommandé d’assurer le colis.
