Random play

[VCD] [CD]

Plays all discs once each in random order.

Ensure a Video CD or CD is in the play position tray. (Random play is not possible if the play position tray is empty or contains a disc other than a Video CD or CD.)

1 While stopped

Press [PLAY MODE] to display “RANDOM” on the tuner/amplifier. [A]

Each time you press the button:

ALL DISCPRGMRANDOM(off)

 $

2 Press [ ] (play) .

To exit random mode

Press [PLAY MODE] while in the stop mode to clear “RANDOM” on the tuner/amplifier.

Note

pIf the disc is a Video CD with PBC, menu play is automatically canceled during random play.

pThis function skips discs other than a Video CD or CD. pYou cannot skip to tracks already played.

pYou can search only within a track being played in random play.

You can play up to 5 discs in succession to the final disc.

Press [PLAY MODE] while in the stop mode to clear “ALL DISC” on the tuner/amplifier.

Final disc

For example, if play starts from disc 4, disc 3 will be the final disc. Order of progression: Disc 45123

Starting play from a selected item

[RAM] [DVD-A] [DVD-V] [VCD] [CD] [WMA] [MP3] [JPEG]

1 Press [DISC] and (within 10 seconds) [1]–[5] to select the disc.

Play starts from the first item.

pIf a menu appears (Video CD with PBC), press [w] to cancel menu play.

2 Press the numbered buttons to select the item.

Play starts from the selected item.

To select a 2-digit number

Example: To select track 23, press [510/-/--] [2] [3].
