Enjoying karaoke (For Australia and N.Z.)

Preparation:

pPress [ /I] to turn the unit on.

pTurn on the television and switch the video input mode of the television to suit the type of connection you have made (e.g., VIDEO 1).

pLower volume with [MIC VOL], then connect the microphone(s) to the mi- crophone jack(s). (Plug type 6.3 mm monaural)

1 Start the source.

2 Select the Karaoke mode.

See below ([A], [B] or [C]) for operation details.

3 Adjust the main volume and microphone volume.

AKaraoke DVD

Icons are displayed on the television to assist operation.

Remote control only

Press [AUDIO].

Press the cursor button [ ] or [ ] to select the vocal se- lect mode.

Press [ ] or [ ] to select the appropriate mode.

(Refer to the discs jacket for details.)

The display on television changes each time you press the button:

OFF: Vocal off

OFF:

Vocal off

ON: Vocal on

Vocal 1K2 on

The changes in Karaoke mode are shown on the tuner/amplifier.

Note

pThe Karaoke modes cannot be used with the radio, SUPER 3D AI EQ or surround effects.

pIf a strange noise (squealing or howling) is emitted during use, move the microphone away from the speakers, or turn down the microphone vol- ume.

When you are not using the microphone, disconnect it from the MIC jack, and turn down the microphone volume level to MIN.

When using the VOICE MUTE function

Voice mute may not function sufficiently or noise may interfere when using the following software.
