Other Features

Your washer may have some of the following features. Understanding the use of the fea- tures on your machine will help you efficiently use your washer.

MAGIC CLEAN* lint filter

The lint filter at the bottom of the washer basket cleans itself. During agitation, wash and rinse water pass over the filter, separat- ing the lint from the water. The lint is then spun away from the filter and out of the system during the spin part of the cycle.

If your washer drains into a tub, remove any lint collected in the tub or strainer.

Using the Extra Rinse option

(on some models)

You can select an Extra Rinse in both the REGULAR and PERMANENT PRESS cycles. Depending on your washer model, you may have either a knob or CLEAN TOUCHTM Extra Rinse Selector.

lBefore a cycle starts, select Extra Rinse On. The washer automatically adds an

extra rinse and spin to the cycle.

lIf no extra rinse and spin is desired, select Extra Rinse Off.

NOTE: On CLEAN TOUCH models, the “On”indicator lights when an Extra Rinse is selected.
