Weather Station Operation/Installation Manual

WARNING

Do not mount the Weather Station near any heat producing objects, like exhaust pipes.

TIP

Place the Dash Warning sticker (Figure 5-1 on page 5-1) in the operator of the vehicle’s line of vision, to remind the operator of high mounted objects on the vehicles roof.

Mounting the Topcon Weather Station

1.Find a suitable flat surface on the vehicle’s cabin

2.If attaching the Marine Mount (B125) to a plastic or fibre-glass surface, then attach a metal plate, no smaller than 12”x 12”

(300mm x 300mm) to the plastic or fibre-glass surface. Then attach the Marine Mount to the metal plate

TIP

When installing the Marine Mount, ensure that the handle is in a convenient position to fold away the Weather Station.

TIP

Ensure that when the Marine Mount is folded, it is not obstructed by other equipment such as antennae or rotating beacons etc.

3.Fix the Marine Mount (B125) to the flat metal surface using the 4 screws (F374), 4 flat washers (F200) and 4 nyloc nuts (F372) which are provided in the kit (Figure 5-3 on page 5-3)
