To scan quickly through tracks on a disc (HI-LITE scan)

This function plays a 10 second portion located 1 minute from the start of each track on all the discs in the current play mode.

The ”DISC” and “SCAN” indicator blinks.

ÖYou can use 4 /¢ to skip to another track during track scan.

ÖIf the player is in ALL REPEAT mode, the HI-LITE scan will repeat.

ÖIf the track is less than 1 minute long, about 10 seconds from the beginning of the track will be played. If the track is less than 10 seconds long, the entire track will be played.
