Reference Section

When performing fast songs on Concert Magic, it is sometimes easier to tap two different keys with two fingers alternating. This allows you to play twice as fast as you can using only one finger on one key.

Adjust the relative volume of the melody notes and accompaniment notes with the DUAL BALANCE slider.

CONCERT MAGIC SONG ARRANGEMENT TYPES

Each of the 176 Concert Magic songs is arranged in one of three arrangement types.

EASY BEAT

These are the easiest songs to play. To perform them, simply tap out a constant steady beat on any key on your piano keyboard.

MELODY PLAY

These songs are also quite easy to play, especially if they are familiar to you. To perform them, tap out the rhythm of the melody on any one of the keys on your piano keyboard. Singing along as you tap the rhythm can be helpful.

SKILLFUL

These songs range in difficulty from moderately difficult to difficult. To perform them, tap out the rhythm of both the melody and the accompaniment notes on any of the keys on your piano keyboard.

It may require some practice to successfully play these selections. Even skilled players will enjoy the challenge of the skillful pieces. Try listening to these songs first, and then try to tap out the rhythms that you hear.

STEADY BEAT

With Steady Beat you can play any Concert Magic song by just tapping any key with a steady beat regardless of which arrangement type the song is.

First you need to change the Concert Magic mode from NORMAL to STEADY BEAT. Press and hold the CONCERT MAGIC button. Use the VALUE button to change the mode.
