Basic Operations

The name of the selected preset sound is also shown in the LCD Display.

Modern Piano

The SOUND SELECT buttons are assigned with three (CA1000) or four (CA1200) preset sounds to select. To select the other sounds, press the button repeatedly.

You can also select any preset sounds by using the VALUE buttons.

USING DEMO FUNCTION

The CA piano has 27 built-in demo songs. Each of the demo songs presents a musical piece to introduce the different preset sounds.

Press the DEMO button and the demo song for the Classic Grand category will start. After the Classic Grand demo songs are finished playing, the demo songs for another sound category will be selected at random.

If you would like to listen to the demos for a particular category, just press the desired SOUND SELECT button while the demo is playing. When you press the button, the demo will play the demo songs for the newly selected category. Then the demo songs for another category will be selected at random. See page 80 for the list of demo songs.

DUAL

Another feature of the CA piano is the ability to layer two preset sounds together to create a more complex sound. For example, piano layered with strings, electric piano with choir sound, and so on.

To layer two sounds, press the SOUND SELECT buttons for both

sounds simultaneously. The LED indicators for each will be turned on to indicate the two sounds you have chosen. You will find the selected sound names are also shown in the LCD display.
