PCI Configuration Status and Error Messages

The following is a list of status and error messages that may appear on your system from time to time.

Message	Meaning
Floppy Disk Controller	The floppy disk controller has requested a
Resource Conflict	resource that is already in use.
NVRAM Checksum Error,	The NVRAM data was reinitialized due to
NVRAM Cleared	an NVRAM checksum error.
NVRAM Cleared By Jumper	The Clear CMOS jumper block has been
	changed to the clear position.
NVRAM Data Invalid,	Invalid entry in the NVRAM.
NVRAM Cleared
Parallel Port Resource Conflict	The parallel port has requested a resource
	that is already in use.
PCI Error Log is Full	This message is displayed when more than
	15 PCI conflict errors are detected. No
	additional PCI errors can be logged.
PCI I/O Port Conflict	Two devices requested the same resource,
	resulting in a conflict.
PCI IRQ Conflict	Two devices requested the same resource,
	resulting in a conflict.
PCI Memory Conflict	Two devices requested the same resource,
	resulting in a conflict.
Primary Boot Device Not	The designated primary boot device (hard
Found	disk drive, floppy disk drive, CD-ROM
	drive, or network drive) could not be
	found.
Primary IDE Controller	The primary IDE controller has requested
Resource Conflict	a resource that is already in use.
Primary Input Device Not	The designated primary input device
Found	(keyboard, mouse, or other, if input is
	redirected) could not be found.
Primary Output Device Not	The designated primary output device
Found	(display, serial port, or other, if input is
	redirected) could not be found.
Secondary IDE Controller	The secondary IDE controller has
Resource Conflict	requested a resource that is already in use.
Serial Port 1 Resource Conflict	Serial port 1 has requested a resource that
	is already in use.
