PCI Configuration Status and Error Messages

The following is a list of status and error messages that may appear on your system from time to time.

Message

Floppy Disk Controller

The floppy disk controller has requested a

Resource Conflict

resource that is already in use.

 

 

NVRAM Checksum Error,

The NVRAM data was reinitialized due to

NVRAM Cleared

an NVRAM checksum error.

 

 

NVRAM Cleared By Jumper

The Clear CMOS jumper block has been

 

changed to the clear position.

 

 

NVRAM Data Invalid,

Invalid entry in the NVRAM.

NVRAM Cleared

 

 

 

Parallel Port Resource Conflict

The parallel port has requested a resource

 

that is already in use.

 

 

PCI Error Log is Full

This message is displayed when more than

 

15 PCI conflict errors are detected. No

 

additional PCI errors can be logged.

 

 

PCI I/O Port Conflict
