Getting Started

Turning the Power On and Off

NOTE

Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices.

Turning on the power

1.Before you switch on the power, turn the volume all the way down by using the

[Volume] slider.

2.Press the [Power] switch, to turn on the

power.

Lower position

ON

After a few seconds, the keyboard will produce sound when played. Adjust the volume appropriately.

NOTE

This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few seconds) after power up is required before the unit will operate normally.

Turning off the power

1.Before switching the power off, turn the volume all the way down by using the

[Volume] slider.

OFF

The power is turned off.

Adjusting the Volume

Use the [Volume] slider to adjust the overall volume.

Setting the Music Stand

Insert the music stand into the two holes as shown in the

figure below.

NOTE

Before moving the HP 237R, be sure to remove the music stand as a safety precaution.
